The payment will be made directly to the Westway coach. As a guideline, Westway recommends that customers pay £25 – £46 for coaching sessions with our Fully Qualified LTA Licensed Coaches. Prices vary depending upon the coach’s qualifications, experience and availability. As coaches are freelance and self-employed these are strictly guidelines.
Coaching is only permitted at Westway Sports Centre by approved and licensed Westway Coaches. The use of ball hoppers and baskets is forbidden unless prior consent is granted by Westway Management.
Maja Kambic
Joined Westway in January 2010. LTA/ PTR Qualified tennis coach. Top 200 ITF (under 18s) and top 500 WTA ranked player. Competed at international level for 10 years and member of London Metropolitan University Tennis Team – BUCS Champion in 2009/10 and European Champions 2009. Works with Junior and Adult players of all levels.

Peter Harrison
Played junior County and National level. RPT Qualified European Coach (LTA Level 3 Equivalent). Played in the first Junior Westway Academy in the late 90's. Available for individual lessons.

Piers Herfet Jones
LTA Licenced Performance Coach. Competed at a National and International level for over 10 years as a junior. Top 10 in Great Britain throughout his junior career. Dorset Player of the Year 2011.
Piers is available for individual and private group lessons Monday – Saturday.
Works with both Adults and Juniors of all standards.

Kad Achouri
Obtained French tennis coach qualification (brevet d'etat de tennis) and also Performance tennis coach (Level 3). Kad has been coaching tennis for more than 15 years between France, Spain (Barcelona) and the UK. Kad is mostly available for morning and afternoon and weekend sessions for both adults and children, individually or in small groups.

David Burwood
An LTA Qualified and Licensed Coach (ACA 1987 = level 4). Joined the Westway coaching team in August 2010. Over 25 years of tennis coaching experience to date, and has competed extensively on tennis circuits in the UK, USA and Europe. Currently competeson the ITF Seniors Tour.
David helps adult and junior players enjoy and improve their tennis through fun, active sessions. This can be on a 1-1 or group basis between Tuesday – Friday 8am – 3pm. Occasional evening and weekend sessions only for clients who have pre-booked WSC courts.

Steven Lockwood
Steven is a passionate coach with over ten years experience coaching different players, ages and standards. He is a fully qualified Registro Profesional De Tenis, European master coach, United States Professional Tennis Association, professional level 1 coach, and a fully licenced Lawn Tennis Association coach. As a player, he is a former ATP tour men’s world ranked singles and doubles player, while as a junior, he competed at Junior Wimbledon, and represented Great Britain on numerous occasions travelling extensively. Steven is available mostly during mornings, daytimes and weekends for small private group and individual lessons.
