The Football Development Programme at Westway is a professional coaching environment designed to get the very best from each child, regardless of playing ability when they come to us. We will improve their technique, skills and on field intelligence. For our top performers we have specific development sessions, which includes our  top 12 players from under 9  to under 15 who will get additional training. These players tend to become core to our teams in the future. These sessions are only by invitation from the Westway coaches.

Team Training

Westway runs teams for junior players aged from under 10 to under 14. We select the smartest and most technically proficient players from our community sessions and mould them into a playing unit that represents Westway in the Camden and Islington League of North London.

All our players learn in the four corners: tactically, technically,socially and psychologically. We have a good reputation with professional clubs and have seen no less than 40 boys go to academies in the last 5 seasons.

Holiday Programmes

Football Camps take place throughout the year during school holidays and half-terms. Activities include football coaching with specialist sessions, competitions, quizzes, prizes and much more. Camps run from 10am-4pm for 8 -14 year olds. Your child will leave the camp at the end of the week as a  better player.  

We host specific junior sessions over the holidays for 4-7 year olds from 10am-11.30am, introducing kids to the Westway football programmes. All players in this age group will be given a certificate and have the chance to compete and win medals.

Every day is a fun filled and the children will learn so much that they want to come back again.
