The Westway Tennis programme is very extensive and ranges from a community and schools outreach programme through to a full time Academy. Our programme is widely known for its coaching team and players who are of a high quality.
Our entry level sessions are Pay & Play sessions and focus on those players just starting out in the game and are in need of basic co-ordination, ball skills and a general feel and understanding of Tennis. The Pay & Play is a drop-in session and is the link between the Westway, its community and the schools we are involved with. The next step on the Tennis journey is the Club programme, which works on all levels and ages from 4 through to 16 year olds. These sessions are by invitation through the schools and/or Pay & Play sessions or via an assessment.
Our Performance 
programme follows the same structure as the club programme and the players are asked and expected to perform more difficult drills than in the club programme. Players on our Performance programme play in LTA and Middlesex tournaments and are expected to be competing almost every week. All priority players throughout the programme are given individual goals and schedules. These players are seen by our Strength & Conditioning coach and are given specific S & C exercises and programmes to follow.
Once a player makes the decision to take their game to a European and international level they become involved in our Academy programme. Our Academy is for full-time players who train twice a 
day and also do their education on site. There is a very specific daily programme in place for Academy players which involves heavy loading sessions early in the week and moves towards matchplays later in the week. There is also the option of accessing the Academy on a part-time basis. This is for players still in full-time school programmes but are still keen on progressing their Tennis on a very serious level. All Academy players have individual Tennis programmes incorporating Tennis specifics, tournament schedules and general life skills, as well as individual S & C programmes. Our S & C coach works daily with the Academy.
We have some of the best Mini Red, Orange, Green and performance players in Middlesex as well as players with ATP, International and European rankings in our Academy.
Our Tennis team is extremely passionate about what they do and always give 100% to any player that they work with. We follow a simple Tennis philosophy at Westway and believe that Tennis should be accessable to all players at all ages and all playing levels.
