Ian qualified to teach in ‘82 and has enjoyed a vast experience of teaching children of all ages as well as adults. He has developed a Learn to swim programme for nursery children and for several years was the teacher trainer for the largest private swimming school in London.

Pilar was a national swimmer in Spain for 11 years, gained her teaching qualification there and has been teaching in London since 1998. In 2006 she finished a second degree, a BA (Hons) in ‘Childhood and Youth Studies’, in order to gain a greater insight into the development of the physical and mental capabilities of young children.

Stefan has been the SBR Multisports head swim coach in New York before his relocation to London. He is a Total Immersion Senior Coach and a ASA Swimming Certified Coach who is proficient in teaching all four strokes. Stefan has an extensive swimming background and several years of coaching experience in Europe as well as the United States and has worked with swimmers & triathletes of all levels & ages. Stefan is a USMS All American, multiple medal winner at international masters events and has been teaching swimming successfully for over 10 years from beginners up to triathlon world champions
