Run as a Social Enterprise by Westway Development Trust - Enhancing Local lives!

 Westway Sports Centre is part of Westway Development Trust, a registered charity. The Trust was set up 40 years ago to develop the land beneath the Westway flyover for community benefit. We are involved in sports development, health, education and the arts, with a focus on those most in need. We operate as a social enterprise and finance our community work by developing property for rent under the flyover. We aim to charge a fair price to all and to target assistance and subsidy to those most in need. Our benefit area is the borough of Kensington & Chelsea, and for sports & leisure, Hammersmith, Westminster, Wandsworth and Brent. We prioritise local groups and schools wherever possible.

Westway - A very Special Sports Centre

With its unique location, under and alongside the Westway flyover Westway Sports Centre is a special place, and it is run in a special way by our dedicated team. As well as being accessible to all, the centre provides many tailored community, school and commercial activities. Whoever you are and whatever you do we hope you will find something to enjoy at Westway.

Climbing,Tennis, Football and Much More

The Westway Sports Centre has three core sports Climbing, Tennis and Football. We have one of the largest climbing walls in the UK, 8 all-weather football pitches, 8 indoor tennis courts and 4 outdoor courts. In addition, we offer 4 courts for  Fives (also known as Eton Fives), a 20 station Fitness Facility, Cricket, Netball, Basketball and Swimming. We also have a Crussh cafe and a large Urban Rock climbing shop. Car parking is available on site and Latimer Road tube station is only a few minutes walk away.

 Excellent and Open to Everyone

There are no membership fees at Westway, our focus is on providing opportunities for the whole community, so Westway is a place where everyone can enjoy quality sporting activities without being tied in to expensive memberships. We offer many youth sports development programmes, community activities and host regional and national sports competitions. The Westway prides itself on the excellence that its coaching team provide.
