The Westway Climbing Centre has a large route-setting programme and employs some of the most respected setters in the country, including National and International Competition setters.

There are in the region of 350 routes up at any one time with a range of grades from F3 to F8a. There are 100 boulder problems set at any one time graded using the V system, from V0 to V10.

We aim to set 90 new routes per month and to change all of the boulder problems every four to six weeks.

Unless there are exceptional circumstances, the route setting will take place on weekdays from 9.30am until 4.30pm in order to minimise any impact at very busy evening times and at weekends.
